FBI Background Check + Apostille

Two steps, one order

The most common reason people need an FBI background check is to use it abroad — for a work visa, residency, or adoption. That means two things have to happen: you have to obtain the FBI Identity History Summary, and then it has to be apostilled by the U.S. Department of State. Ordering them separately means two waits and two round trips. This bundle does both in one order.

What the bundle covers

• We obtain your FBI Identity History Summary through an FBI-approved channel, with fingerprinting and FD-258 guidance.
• As soon as the report is issued, we apostille it through the Department of State.
• The completed, apostilled report ships back to you or a recipient abroad with tracking.

When to choose this over separate services

Choose the bundle whenever you know from the start that your FBI check is going overseas to a Hague Convention country. If your destination is not a Hague member, the report needs embassy legalization instead of an apostille — tell us the country on the order form and we will route it correctly. If you already have your FBI report in hand, you only need the apostille service on its own.
